ADVO Mail Results Stable Despite Economy, Security Woes

Shared mail has remained stable despite economic worries, the events of Sept. 11 and the anthrax scare, said results of a survey done by ADVO.

Overall response to ADVO’s shared-mail package increased one percentage point to a record 43% in 2001. Response to the package stayed stable throughout 2001.

The study, conducted by NFO WorldGroup, is based on the responses of more than 49,000 Americans throughout the year.

ADVO, Windsor, CT, distributes its shared mail advertising to more than 100 million households annually.
