Yahoo Inc. has teamed up with online auction company EBay in a U.S. alliance that will attempt to take on Google Inc. and Microsoft Corp., according to wire service reports.
Under the agreement, Yahoo, the world’s largest Internet media company, will become the exclusive provider of graphic advertising on EBay and provide some search services within EBay’s site to connect buyers to items they seek.
