Steve Woods, president of Pierce Promotions & Event Management, has resigned his position to pursue other opportunities.
Clint Pierce, the CEO and a founder of Pierce Promotions & Event Management, has assumed the additional role of president for the “foreseeable future,” Pierce said.
Woods resigned Oct. 16. Woods joined Portland, ME-based Pierce in July 2001. He said Tuesday he preferred the independent agency Pierce had been prior to its acquisition by agency conglomerate Omnicom Group in June 2002. Pierce, which had operated as a staunch independent for about a dozen years, became part of Omnicom’s Radiate Group.
Woods said he has begun plans to open an event marketing agency.
