Wal-Mart Stores is teaming with cable network CMT, Country Music Television, to promote music and entertainment products in-store and on-air.
If successful, the partnership could extend to CMT’s sibling cable networks and music services under parent MTV Networks.
In-store promos will include exclusive content from CMT airing on Wal-Mart TV in its 2,000-plus stores. CMT will run on-air support (reaching 77 million households), and both companies will use their Web sites for promo support.
