V12 Seeks New Purchase Candidates

V12 Group, which recently acquired Terameda Corp. and Direct Marketing Associates, expects to announce another deal next month, said CEO Paul Chachko.

Redbank, NJ-based V12 Group is looking for candidates in the data processing and online marketing fields, Chachko added.

Its latest acquisition two weeks ago was structured to provide Teramedia’s senior management with financial incentives based on growth objectives.

Teramedia’s CEO Steve Hardigree has been named chief marketing officer for all of V12.

V12’s existing database with more than 217 million consumers and 120 million households will be combined with Teramedia’s consumer and business-to-business response and behavioral data, which will allow V12 to offer a broader array of list selections.

“The database will be deeper with more data,” said Chachko.

Up to 250 fields of data will be available for each individual consumer and household record. This includes an anticipated increase in e-mail addresses and phone numbers.

With the acquisition V12 has gained additional data in the consumer timeshare and automotive markets, ailment sufferers lists, as well as entry into the business-to-business list market and list brokerage clients. Likewise, Teramedia can now offer statistical modeling, analytical and other services through V12.

Orlando, FL-based Teramedia like other companies that V12 acquires will use their original names, but eventually all will use the V12 name, although there is no timetable set for making this change, according to the CMO.
