U.S. Foodservice Taps GTE to Build e-Commerce Site

U.S. Foodservice, based in Columbia, MD, has tapped GTE Internetworking to build its commercial Web site http://www.NextDayGourmet.com.

With a two-year strategy to move its growing $530-million-plus restaurant equipment and supply business to the Internet, the company reportedly launched the site to enhance and foster its equipment and supplies sales.
