Chase Card Services is expanding its relationship with Six Flags to include in-park promotions and loyalty benefits for attendees.
Under the partnership, Six Flags has named Chase the official credit card issuer of the theme park. As part of the deal, card members will receive special offers at Six Flags, including admission and in-park discounts. In addition, the company will have in-park signage and its promotions will appear on SixFlags.com.
Chase has had an ongoing relationship with the park since 1996.
Six Flags will also include marketing messages in statement mailings and e-mails to Chase’s more than 100 million card members. The company in turn will market Six Flag promotions on its cardmember Web site.
The deal also includes naming Chase as the official sponsor of Hispanic events at Six Flag parks nationwide.
“Our alliance gives Chase a great opportunity to market to millions of new consumers in the parks, as well as through new sponsorship opportunities, with the bonus that we can also provide benefits to our existing customers,” said Hugh Bleemer, executive vice president, Chase Card Services, in a statement.
As part of the marketing pact, Chase will become the first sponsor of Six Flags Read to Success literacy initiative, which promotes reading to more than 1.5 million students in about 18,000 schools nationwide.
