Scholastic Media has named Daisy Kline as director of marketing and brand management, a new position.
In the role, Kline oversees all marketing initiatives and brand strategies for Scholastic Media properties, including Clifford The Big Red Dog, Goosebumps, WorldGirl, I Spy, The Magic School Bus and Dragon. The position began Oct. 22.
Kline reports to Leslye Schafer, senior vice president of marketing and consumer products.
Previously, she worked as director of marketing at Random House Children’s Books.
In other news, Scholastic Media promoted Rachel Bader to director of consumer products. Bader, who started Oct. 22, is responsible for selling and managing the company’s properties, trademarks and brands in the manufacturing, licensing and promotion communities.
Bader joined Scholastic Media in 2002 as a consultant working on online marketing efforts for its book clubs before becoming manager of consumer products.
