The Reader’s Digest Association Inc. reported net income of $12 million for the quarter ended June 30, an improvement over a net loss of $13 million last year.
The direct marketer and publisher reported revenue of $536 million for its fourth quarter, down from revenue of $534 million last year.
“We are pleased to report significantly improved profit performance at RD North America and International Businesses. This was offset by continued soft performance in the Consumer Business Services segment,” said CEO Thomas O. Ryder in a statement.
