Primus Expects Second Quarter Revenues of $4.2 Million

Seattle-based Primus projects preliminary second quarter 2002 revenues of $4.2 million, with a loss per share in the range of $0.16 to $0.19.

Primus is a provider of knowledge application software for customer contact centers, IT help desks, Web interaction and self-service portal environments.

“While sales activity continues to increase, we encountered delays in closing the business necessary to meet our quarterly goal. While we cannot control the greater economic environment, we have continued to manage our costs, and our financial position remains solid with more than $15 million in cash and investments,” said Mike Brochu, president and CEO, in a statement.

During the quarter Primus signed contracts with The Boeing Company, Commerce One, Concord Communications, General Dynamics, IBM, NetScreen Technologies and others.
