Pernod Ricard Names New Spirits Marketing Exec

Pernod Ricard USA has named Patrick Piana senior vice president, spirits marketing. The position takes effect Jan. 18.

He will be responsible for driving marketing for the company¹s portfolio of premium and super-premium spirits, including Chivas Regal, Martell, Kahlúa, Malibu, Stoli, Beefeater, The Glenlivet and Jameson, among others, the company said.

Piana replaces Kevin Fennessey, who resigned last year to become president of Absolut Spirits Co. in New York.

In addition, Piana will develop and execute global marketing strategy for Pernod Ricard USA-owned brands, including Seagram¹s Gin, Wild Turkey and Hiram Walker Liqueurs.

Most recently, Piana worked for Moet Hennessy USA, as a senior vice president.
