The John Caples International Awards has named Arthur Parshotam, executive creative director, Draft London, winner of the 2003 Irving Wunderman Award.
The award is presented to an individual who, for a decade or more, has combined the highest levels of talent, imagination, curiosity and insight into a unique body of creative work.
Parshotam began his agency career at Lintas where he began working on international brands. Next, he moved to DBA, where he began a 16-year partnership with Roddy Kerr.
In the eight years that Parshotam has been in the business, he has won 48 awards across all disciplines, an achievement he credits to the substantial work achieved with Kerr.
“Arthur is known for his bold, creative talent, which has inspired TV commercials and print advertising for major brands,” said Andi Emerson, founder and president of the Awards. “From his copywriter roots, he has spawned a career that is a major creative force in our industry. We are proud to honor him as the first international creative executive to win this award.”
