Online or In Stores? Where will Holiday Shoppers Go?

holiday marketingThe numbers are already in for the Thanksgiving weekend shopping, including Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Internet sales went though the roof and the question now becomes, for the rest of the shopping season will consumers be online or in stores.

eMarketer has just published a survey from Rocket Fuel and Qualtrics that helps to answer that question. They surveyed 600 adults Internet users about how they plan to shop this holiday season, including what to buy and where to shop. The article also uncovers projected changes in shopping categories. We get some good insights here.
