Office Depot has named Monica Luechtefeld executive vice president, strategy and development.
In her new role, she will be responsible for managing the strategic planning process to support the company’s long-term growth. She will also continue to oversee e-commerce activities.
She has directed online initiatives for the Delray Beach, FL firm since 1994, during which time she reportedly transformed the company into the third largest multichannel retailer on the Web.
