Specialty Catalog Corp., a South Easton, MA-based direct marketer of women’s wigs and related accessories, has decided not to find a buyer, but to focus on acquisitions and internal growth. In addition, its board has approved the repurchase of up to $1 million of its stock.
The board of directors made the decision based on “current operating performance and outlook for the future,” believing “that shareholder value can be better maximized…through the Company’s business plan,” according to a statement released yesterday.
