The Professional Bull Riders, Inc. will have two live bulls on display at the entrance of New York’s Javits Center next week to draw attention to its exhibit booth at the International Licensing Show.
The bulls were exhibited last year along with a 17-foot by 24-foot video screen with continuous footage of bull-riding action. The video screen will also return, PBR Licensing Manager Rhonda Truett said.
“Last year it was a tremendous draw,’ Truett said. “Not many New Yorkers had seen a live bull before, and some thought there were both male and female bulls. People even stopped what they were doing and watched the video screen for 30 to 45 minutes at a time.”
PBR hopes the bulls will again help draw potential business to its booth. Attendees can put their skills to the test aboard the PBR’s mechanical bucking bull, which will be adjacent to the PBR booth. The PBR photo bull, a 10-foot stuffed bull, will also make an appearance.
PBR’s licensing program extends across all major categories, and not only includes the PBR corporate marks and logos, but the top riders and bulls associated with the sport. The PBR also has successful products in the traditional western lifestyle category such as jeans, shirts, cowboy hats, belts, buckles, and accessories.
