PEDIGREE: Food for Dogs is running a cause-marketing promotion tied to DreamWorks Pictures’ and Nickelodeon Movies’ upcoming release of “Hotel for Dogs.” For every ticket purchased for the movie, which opened last Friday, the company will make a donation to The Pedigree Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides funding to animal shelters and breed rescues, up to $250,000. The brand’s “See the movie. Help a dog.” motto will be promoted via TV spots, online, in store and on popcorn bags in participating theaters.
