MCDONALD’S:

announced plans to consolidate its worldwide media strategy, planning and buying efforts with OMD Worldwide, a division of Omnicom Group, Inc. The move was an effort to improve media efficiency. McDonald’s said its franchisees would continue to make local ad-buying decisions and develop local creative campaigns as they have in the past.

JONES SODA CO.: plans to sell its Turkey & Gravy flavored beverage online after getting an “incredible response” to the soda. It plans to give all online proceeds to Toys for Tots, a national charity for children.
