ADIDAS: has extended its marketing partnership with the New York Yankees. The original deal with the MLB team began in 1997 and the new one will run through the 2013 season. Adidas remains the Official Athletic Apparel and Footwear Company of the team, and will supply athletic apparel and footwear for various personnel areas within the organization, such as the ticket takers, merchandise store employees, baseball operations staff and the club’s minor league affiliates.
NEW LINE TELEVISION: has promoted Robin Seidner D’Elia to senior VP-national television promotions and marketing for New Line Cinema. The promotion went into effect on March 23. Seidner D’Elia, a former VP-national television promotions and marketing, continues her work as a liaison between the company’s television and film groups creating and securing TV promotions for all new Line theatrical releases. In her new role, Seidner D’Elia oversees promotional partnerships with the broadcast and cable networks, marketing, promotion and publicity efforts for New Line Television’s syndication division. The position is a new title for the division.
CLEAR CHANNEL ENTERTAINMENT GLOBAL MUSIC: has named Faisel K. Durrani executive VP-marketing of its music division. In the new position, Durrani is charged with elevating the marketing/promotion skill set within Clear Channel’s music division. The position began last month. Durrani, who recently served as senior VP-international marketing for Island Def Jam Music Group will report to Michael Rapino, Clear Channel’s CEO.
