BACARDI: has hired Sex and the City star Kim Cattrall as a spokesperson for its new product Island Breeze. She will appear in print and cable TV ads. The new beverage is made with Bacardi rum, natural fruit flavors and sucralose. The product hits retail next month in 750 ml. bottles with three flavors: Key Lime, Coconut and Wild Berry.
VALEANT PHARMACEUTICALS INTERNATIONAL: has signed former Friends actress Courteney Cox as its first spokesperson to represent Kinerase skin care products. She will make personal appearances and appear in support materials distributed throughout the U.S., Canada and Europe.
STACKER 2: has agreed to a multi-year sponsorship with DIRT MotorSports’ World of Outlaws Late Model Series. The dirt track automotive racing series will now be known as the World of Outlaws Stacker 2 Late Model Series. Terms of the deal between the NVE Pharmaceuticals brand and the racing series were not disclosed.
