NATURE VALLEY GRANOLA BAR: has re-signed as an official sponsor of the AVP Pro Beach Volleyball Tour’s Nissan Series through the 2006 season. The AVP Nissan Series is AVP’s national touring series that features more than 150 of the nation’s top male and female professional beach volleyball players. Nature Valley will have a presence at all 14 events throughout the 2005 and 2006 seasons, commercial units during both the cable and network broadcasts, stadium and outer-court signage, a presence in sponsor village for sampling and rights to the AVP images, footage and athletes throughout the 2006 season.
NASCAR: plans to open a licensing office in Bentonville, AR. NASCAR sells its licensed products to Wal-Mart, whose headquarters will be nearby, and hopes to expand the product line to Target and Kmart stores, according to news reports.
