JAKKS PACIFIC, INC.: has signed a licensing agreement with J.K. Benton Design Studio to develop and market girls’ craft and do-it-yourself activity toys based on the Just Jimmy property, a line of colorful and whimsical animal characters by Jim Benton. The agreement covers products marketed under JAKKS’ Flying Colors brands. The products are slated to ship to specialty retailers nationwide in fall 2006.
OIL OF OLAY: has signed Burrell, a Chicago-based agency specializing in the African-American market, to a targeted assignment for its Olay Quench Body Lotion, a shea butter formula containing an exclusive amino-vitamin formula. A Procter & Gamble brand, Olay also announced that it had signed actress Angela Bassett as its spokesperson for its African-American targeted work.
