BURGER KING CORP.: is out with two additions to its breakfast menu, including the French Toast sandwich and Cheesy Tots. The French Toast sandwich features two slices of cinnamon and maple-flavored French toast bread, an omelet egg, American cheese and a choice of ham, sausage or crispy bacon. The product sells for $2.19. The QSR’s new bite-size Cheesy Tots, which sell for $1.29 to $1.79, feature a crispy shell with mozzarella and cheddar cheeses and potato bits inside. TV spots featuring the King will support the new French Toast sandwich. Crispin Porter + Bogusky, Miami, created. P-O-P also supports.

CANADIAN CLUB: has partnered with Andretti Green Racing and car No. 27 driven by Dario Franchittie. The brand will continue as a primary sponsor through the remaining 10 races of the 2006 Indy Racing League IndyCar Series season. Canadian Club makes its debut at the Indianapolis 500 on May 28.

SONY ELECTRONICS, INC.: and Borders Inc. have agreed to make the Sony Reader—a reading device for e-books and text documents—available in 200 Borders stores nationwide. Stores, including some airport locations, will be outfitted with custom-designed display fixtures that will enable customers to learn about the device firsthand.
