HUMMER: has launched a new video game which exclusively features its vehicles. The game, called HUMMER Badlands, is available for both the PS2 computer entertainment system and Xbox video game and entertainment system from Microsoft. HUMMER is a division of GM.
WAL-MART STORES: will continue its rollout of RFID tags under new CIO Rollin Ford, who replaces Linda Dillman, who initiated Wal-Mart’s RFID tracking project, which expands next year to 1,000 stores and 600 manufacturer participants (Xtra, March 6). Ford had been Wal-Mart’s executive VP-logistics and supply chain; he takes over the CIO post following Dillman’s promotion to executive VP-risk management and benefits administration.
