REEBOK: has signed a multi-year partnership with actress Scarlett Johansson to co-create Hearts Rbk, a new athletic-inspired footwear and apparel collection. The new collection hits high-end department stores and boutiques around the world in spring 2007. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed. Johansson will be featured in Reebok’s new global women’s advertising campaign in spring 2007. TV, print, online materials and out of home will support.
STARWOOD HOTELS & RESORTS: has named Matt Ouimet as president, Hotel Group. Ouimet, 47, worked 17 years at The Walt Disney Co., most recently as president of the Disneyland Resort. In his new role, Ouimet will oversee hotel operations worldwide for the company’s nine hotel brands, including more than 850 hotels in 95 countries. Ed Grier, a 25-year Disney veteran will replace Ouimet as president of the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, CA. Most recently, Grier worked as executive managing director of Walt Disney Attractions Japan, where he oversaw Disney operations for the two-park Tokyo Disney Resort and managed the day-to-day relationship with the Oriental Land Co., which operates the resort as a licensee.
