Value America, an Internet retailer offering technology, office and consumer products through its online store, will develop United Labor Online with WebGalaxy Inc., a Carlsbad, CA-based Internet solutions provider. ULOL is a combination of online services geared toward supporting and enhancing the collective communication, buying, social and political power of unions and their members.
As part of the partnership, United Labor Online will feature customized versions of Value America online stores in its Marketplace area. The joint venture will provide c-marketing access to more than two million union members throughout the United States and Canada. It will feature product and service discount shopping area for Union subscribers from more than 700 vendors.
