Nestle Will Send One Healthy, Pure Family to Hawaii

Nestle Pure Life bottled water is looking for the healthiest family of the year and wants to reward them with a Hawaii trip for four and a training session with Oprah’s fitness coach Bob Greene.

Through Sept. 30, participants can register for the “Pure Life/ Best Life Challenge” and sign up to complete a number of behavior-changing challenges in four basic areas of their lives covering diet, exercise and eco-awareness; the challenges include daily routine modifications such as exercising more and substituting water for sugary beverages.

Completion of each challenge earns players an online badge in that area, and logging in to their registered account to check on badge progress earns a sweepstakes entry per day. Participants can use a new Drink Right Tool to calculate the number of calories they’re saving by drinking water rather than soda, and players who enter through Facebook can also engage with special Drink Right, Eat Right Get Active and Get Green interactive games.

Once those challenges are completed, registered players must opt into the Hawaiian trip sweepstakes. One winner chosen from that opt-in group will receive a 5-night stay for four in Hawaii and a chance for a private meeting with Bob Greene. Secondary prizes include two one-year memberships to Bob Greene’s training and life coaching Web service or a year’s supply of Nestle Pure Life purified water.

Site visitors can also win a sweepstakes simply for registering for the Pure Life Challenge, with the grand prize package including a year’s membership, a year of Nestle Pure Life water, among other rewards.

Registered families can also earn “Healthy Rewards” such as bottled water coupons, gift certificates for sporting goods, and Best Life memberships by buying cases of Nestle Pure Life water.

Research conducted this spring by Nestle Pure Life revealed that more than three-quarters of Americans think it takes six months or longer to acquire a new habit, but trainers such as Greene and other experts maintain that habits can be changes in as little as three to six weeks.

“Bob Greene has helped show families how easy it can be to make small, short-term adjustments for long-term health,” Nestle Waters North America group marketing manager Larry Cooper said in a release. “The Nestle Pure Life / Best Life ‘Family of the Year’ promotion is designed to reward all participants making healthy choices for their families, especially one lucky family with a trip to Hawaii.”
