MKTG Services has landed an account to manage five lists for the Musical Heritage Society. The Sound Music Buyers from Musical Heritage Society file with more than 1.1 million records is the largest. This file is comprised of classical and jazz music lovers who joined continuity clubs, in addition to members of Columbia House’s defunct classical music club. Next largest is the Heritage Musical Society Buyers list with 332,000 records. The other Canadian buyers, Jazz Heritage Society and Jazz Store files have counts ranging from 18,000 to 64,000. The sources are direct mail and the Internet. This entire portfolio was formerly managed by Action Markets and Decision Makers, an in-house agency affiliate of the Musical Heritage Society.
