The Life Uniform Co. has acquired catalog and retail marketing competitor Uniform City Corporations. Both firms target healthcare professionals.
Life Uniform is an affiliate of the private investment firm Sun Capital Partners Inc. Terms for the acquisition have not been disclosed.
“We believe that acquisition of Uniform City will provide significant cost synergies, strengthen our retail and online operation, and make the combined company the clear retail and direct marketing leader in the medical apparel and accessories market,” said in a statement M. Steven Liff, managing director of Sun Capital Partners.
Craig Linn has been slated to remain as CEO of Uniform City.
