Lands’ End Taps Gerard Cunningham as CMO

Gerard Cunningham has been appointed chief marketing officer of Lands’ End. He will report to company president David McCreight and will be responsible for all marketing activities.

As the Dodgeville, WI-based firm’s CMO, Cunningham will coordinate Lands’ Ends customer segmentation, creative direction, catalog development, advertising and public relations activities.

Cunningham had previously been VP of operating strategy at Gap Inc. At Gap he brought analytic and customer insight to the firm’s Cap, Old Navy and Banana Republic brands.

Before joining Gap, Cunningham had held a number of positions in marketing and retail strategy at DemandTec, Evant, Prophet Ventures Advisors and Booz, Allen & Hamilton.
