Interchange Corp. Acquires Search Technology for $500,000

Interchange Corp. a provider of paid-search services, has acquired local-search technology assets from an unnamed source for $500,000 in cash and stock.

The Laguna Hills, CA firm uses proprietary search technologies to enable consumers to find and connect with businesses in seven countries and in five languages.

Interchange plans to unite its Internet and wireless local-search technologies under the Local.com brand, which it expects to launch in the second half of this year.
