ING Direct Launches $50 Million Campaign The online savings bank ING Direct launched a $50 million direct marketing campaign yesterday that will include direct response TV, direct mail, newspaper inserts, radio and Internet promotions.

Starting first on TV the campaign will be expanded to other media over the course of this year. Initially savings accounts will be promoted. In January the bank will begin promoting home mortgages.

The DRTV portion of the campaign will run on such cable TV stations as ESPN, Bravo and History Channel.

Brand Engineering, a Toronto, Canada-based agency is handling the advertising.
