Over four dozen marketers from brand corporations and agencies sifted through some 500 campaign entries this week in search of the 2005 PROMO Magazine PRO Award Campaign of the Year.
Two teams of judges spent Tuesday and Wednesday identifying the best campaign work in 20 marketing categories (including Best Idea, Best Multidiscipline, Best Trade/B-to-B). Day 1 judges narrowed the field to the category finalists, while Day 2 judges determined the winners in each area, as well as the top campaign work of the year.
Finalists will be announced Sept. 1 in PROMO Xtra and profiled in the September issue of PROMO. The winners per category— well as the Campaign of the Year— be announced in Chicago on Oct. 16 at the PRO Awards Gala, held in conjunction with PROMO Expo at the Navy Pier. The winning campaigns will be profiled in the November issue of the magazine.
