Lapiz, a Hispanic advertising agency, has added digital and shopper marketing practices to its advertising services lineup. Lapiz is the Hispanic division of Leo Burnett USA.
The new offerings are backed up by retail and digital subject matter experts, methodologies and processes, according to the company, which targets the U.S. Hispanic community.
Senior VP Eduardo Alvarez will lead Lapiz Digital. His background includes global experience in the direct, database marketing and integrated marketing communications fields.
Account director Toni Knoop will take charge of Lapiz Shopper Marketing. Knoop has focused extensively on the marketing to the U.S. Hispanic community, and has recently led Hispanic marketing initiatives for numerous MillerCoors brands, as well as general market campaigns for MillerCoors’ Import and Above Premium brands.
