Hanover Direct Inc., Weehawken, NJ, will open a new distribution center later this month. The new facility will add 700,000 square feet to Hanover’s fulfillment capacity, which currently stands at 1.3 million square feet.
The new center, to be located in Maumelle, AR, will be used by third-party clients of Keystone Internet services. Keystone is a unit of Hanover’s Internet subsidiary erizon, Inc. Hanover has already begun to staff the center, and expects to hire a total of 500 new employees.
