An ongoing audit has forced the Audit Bureau of Circulations to reclassify 165,000 subscriber names to Gruner + Jahr USA as non-paid, meaning the publisher may miss rate based on many of its 2004 titles, according to published reports.
G+J titles include Family Circle, Fitness, Parents, Fast Company and Inc.
According to reports, G+J has filed a civil suit against a Florida firm, Publishers Communication Systems Inc., because G+J claims the company failed to provide ABC auditors with proper documentation proving all the subscribers had paid up.
