eUniverse Inc. reported a net loss of $4.4 million for the quarter ended March 31, compared to a net loss of $1.1 million last year.
The commercial and entertainment Web site reported $15.7 million, down from $22 million last year.
The Los Angeles-based company attributed these results to lower impulse product sales as well as legal and regulatory costs. The firm is also restructuring operations and changing its name to Intermix Media Inc.
