Drive Agency has hired ARC Worldwide veteran George Pace as managing director, a new post at the St. Louis agency.

Pace works with Drive Agency founder and president Dan Curran on business development with current and new clients and on new services. He joined Drive Agency in late May.
Pace had been managing director at ARC (via sister shop Leo Burnett), overseeing operations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa via ARC’s London office. Before that, he held posts at Ogilvy offices in New York and Paris.
“After 10 years working in large agencies, I find myself very excited at what is occurring in the new generation of agencies. These agencies are not strangled by large structures and layers,” Pace said in a statement.
“What attracted us to George was his ability to see beyond ‘the line’ and create big ideas that work across any … media. … His experience and exposure in international markets brings a fresh and welcomed perspective to our clients and teams,” Curran said in a statement.
Three-year-old Drive has 22 staffers; clients include Anheuser-Busch, Nestlé Purina, Williamson-Dickie, Deck the Walls and Build-A-Bear Workshops.
