DoubleClick Reports 167% Revenue Gain, Widening Losses

DoubleClick Inc., the New York-based online agency, reported a net loss of $4.4 million for the quarter ended Dec. 31. up from a net loss of $3.7 million for the same time the year before.

The net loss for the year ended Dec. 31 was $18.2 million, exceeding the net loss of $8.4 million for the year ended Dec. 31, 1997.

The agency reported revenues of $29.1 million for the quarter, a 167% increase over revenues of $10.9 million posted in the fourth quarter of 1997.

The Company reported revenues of $80.2 million for the year ended Dec. 31, a 162% increase over revenues of $30.6 million reported for the year 1997.
