Disney Branded Ice Creams Hit the Market

Posted on by Chief Marketer Staff

In a long-term agreement, Disney Consumer Products and Well’s Dairy, Inc. have launched a variety of ice creams, frozen novelties and yogurt products under the Disney brand.

The products feature many of the popular Disney characters including Mickey Mouse, Winnie the Pooh, Disney/Pixar’s Buzz Lightyear and Disney Princesses.

The campaign includes TV ads, consumer promotions, themed packaging, in-store displays and P-O-S messages. Starting June 15 coupons will appear in regional newspapers throughout the Central U.S., the Southeast and Southwest.

Some of the new products, like Disney Triples Ice Cream, divide a 48-ounce round tub into three colored sections that include Disney character-shaped candy pieces or cookies. Disney Crazy Cones come with vanilla ice cream and chocolate Tigger cookies wrapped in an orange cone topped with chocolate fudge and orange sprinkles.
