Coke Rumored to be Considering a New Diet Cola

Will there be a new diet cola in town?

Maybe. News reports say that Coca-Cola is pondering the introduction of a new diet cola in the U.S. market next year.

Some names have been tossed around, like Coke Zero, Coke Light and Tab, all with no calories and sweetened with an artificial sweetner, Reuters said.

Coca-Cola’s Diet Coke ranks third among the most popular U.S. soft drinks. Diet Pepsi ranks sixth.

Both Pepsi and Coke have unleashed a flurry of new products of late including Coke’s C2 and Pepsi’s Pepsi Edge.
