Coke Out, Pepsi In at Quiznos Sub

PepsiCo, Inc. has signed a deal with Quiznos Sub to serve its drinks at the QSR’s sandwich shops, ousting Coca-Cola whose recent deal with Subway in part ended the 23-year relationship.

The deal is set to begin in February 2005 at Quiznos’s 3,200 locations in the U.S. and Puerto Rico.

Coca-Cola struck a deal with Denver-based Quiznos competitor Subway in November to supply its beverages, taking that business away from PepsiCo after 15 years.
