Chick-fil-A is at it again.
The QSR is giving away $26,000 in free food in 15 minutes to celebrate the opening of its second “in-line” restaurant concept, this one in North Carolina.
The first 100 adult customers on line by 7 a.m. at the opening today will get a one-year supply of coupons (52) for Chick-fil-A combo meals. Customers were allowed to line up 24 hours in advance at 4145-114 Main at North Hills St. prior to the official opening for business at 8 a.m.
Back in August, Chick-fil-A ran a similar promotion at its Silver Spring, MD, site.
The new restaurant concept incorporates the existing Chick-fil-A restaurant interior design that includes warmer colors and wood accents. In addition to outdoor seating, the new dining room design has seating for 80 along with an upscale, expanded coffee service. Specialty lighting and fixtures as well as full-length restroom mirrors complete the redesign, which is designed to set the restaurant apart from its quick-service competitors.
“We are amazed at the raving Chick-fil-A fans who have lined up as early as 24 hours before the awarding of the free year supply of food in all types of weather conditions,” President Dan Cathy said. “We’re excited about this new design, which will enable us to better meet our customers’ needs in areas where property is limited.”
