The makers of Canon cameras have joined with the Yellowstone Park Foundation to help visitors to the national park send digital postcards of their visits. Yellowstone e-postcards, which can be selected, written and sent from a computer with the click of a mouse, can be delivered free by e-mail at any time of the year. They feature a selection of nature scenes that change periodically to reflect the seasons and are captured with Canon film and digital cameras.
The program is made possible by Canon and can be found at ypf.org, the Web site of the Yellowstone Park Foundation. The YPF says Canon’s support of this new feature will help attract new and repeat visitors to the Foundation’s Web site and allow the organization to share information about its programs with a growing audience.
