Build-A-Bear Workshop and the National Football League will introduce a line of officially licensed NFL merchandise for stuffed animals today, supported by a sweepstakes that will send the grand-prize winner to the NFL Pro Bowl.

The new line will feature authentic bear-sized NFL uniforms and sweatshirts for each of the league’s 32 teams, and the genuine logos and patches featured on each team’s uniform. The uniforms are $15 and sweatshirts are available for $8.
Each U.S. Build-A-Bear Workshop store will carry merchandise for teams in their area, and all NFL merchandise will be available through
Buildabear.com.
From Sept. 8-12, the NFL’s annual kickoff weekend, consumers can enter to win four tickets to the NFL Pro Bowl in Hawaii (held in February) and a $100 Build-A-Bear Workshop Bear Buck$ gift card.
Also, consumers purchasing an NFL uniform during kickoff weekend will receive a free officially licensed NFL keychain.
Though the retailer’s deal with the league is new for the 2005 season, the company’s Build-A-Bear Workshop On Tour mobile store, appeared at the America Online Presents the NFL Experience at Super Bowl XXXIX.
At the mobile store, consumers were able to purchase licensed bear-sized Super Bowl attire, including sweatshirts, ringer tees, NFC Champion tiny tees and AFC Champion tiny tees, in addition to other bear-sized clothing and accessories.
