The President’s mother Barbara Bush and former Texas Gov. Ann Richards are the spokeswomen for public service television announcements that have begun airing statewide in Texas, which encourage senior citizens to “just hang up” on telemarketers.
The campaign organized by the Texas Young Lawyers Association is intended to protect elderly people from telemarketing scams, according to Texas attorney general Greg Abbott.
