Banta Corp. has enlarged its Harrisonburg, VA distribution center by 179,000 square feet. The facility now encompasses 433,000 square feet.
According to the company, the additional capacity will allow the company to improve customer service and reduce operational complexity. Banta processes 5,500 cartons of books and materials a day, containing more than 100,000 units, according to the company.
The expansion will allow it to move finished products from its bindery to its distribution center, without the items leaving the facility.
