Arby’s is on the hunt for a loyal customer to star in one of its TV commercials.
The company is asking people to submit videos less than five minutes long to www.arbysrescuebrigade.com explaining how they plan to save the world from ordinary fast food. The top submission will win a role in an upcoming Arby’s commercial and free food for a year.
The promotion centers on Capt. John Maddox and the Arby’s Rescue Brigade, a group that travels around the country trying to save the world from greasy burgers and unsatisfying fast food.
People can upload videos through June 30.
Customers can also enter a separate sweepstakes for a chance to win a Ford Mustang convertible or a Roush Mustang by opting in to Arby’s Extras Club to receive company news, promotions and coupons. The sweeps at www.arbysmustang.com runs through June 6.
TV spots and online marketing supports the promotion.
