Applebee’s Offers ‘2 for $20’ Promo

Applebee’s if running a promotion to entice cash-strapped consumers to come out for dinner.

The “2 for $20” promotion lets guests share an appetizer and order two entrees for $20.

Guests can choose from such appetizers as spinach and artichoke dip or onion rings and entrees that include a 7-ounce sirloin, lime chicken or bacon cheeseburger.

“While consumers may be cutting back, Applebee’s wants to ensure they don’t miss out on what’s important: connecting over a meal with friends and family,” Shannon Scott, executive director of marketing for Applebee’s said in a release.

Applebee’s is promoting the offer via an in-restaurant menu insert, outdoor banners, FSIs, its Web site, TV and radio spots and e-mail, spokesperson Miles McMillin said.
