Professional tennis player Andy Roddick has signed a deal to represent Lexus, the luxury car division of Toyota. Financial terms were not disclosed.,
The deal was scheduled to begin yesterday, the opening day of Wimbledon.
Roddick will wear a Lexus logo on the left sleeve of his shirt during all match plays. In addition, he will drive a Lexus for personal use and appear in a Lexus ad campaign. The deal is the automaker’s second in men’s tennis this month. Last week. Lexus signed a three-year deal to replace Lincoln Mercury as the official vehicle of the U.S. Open. Lexus will also be the presenting sponsor of the U.S. Open Men’s Singles Championship, and will award an all-new 2006 Lexus GS 430 to the winner.
